Migrating From GBA Game to NDS Game (DeSmuMe)

I AM USING POKEMON FIRE RED FOR GBA AND POKEMON PLATINUM FOR NDS AS A EXAMPLE. YOU CAN USE ANY ROM TO MIGRATE...


HERE ARE THE STEPS:


*STEP 1 - Go to your VisualBoy Advance Folder Then Run VisualBoy Advance and load your gba game.

*STEP 2 - Go to 'Option' and then 'Emulator' then 'Save Type' and click the 'FLASH 128K' in VisualBoy Advance


*STEP 3 - Save your game by normal save not by save state.

*STEP 4 - Export your Battery File by click on 'Export' and then click on 'Battery File' to your DeSmuMe Emulator Folder.
         

*STEP 5 - Copy your GBA Rom To Your DeSmuMe Folder.
REMEMBER - Your Save File name must match with your GBA Rom Name..

*STEP 6 - Run DeSmuMe and Open your NDS Game then Click on 'Emulation' tab then click on GBA slot then select 'Guitar Grip' it will ask to reset rom, click yes.

*STEP 7 - Then again click on 'Emulation' tab and click on GBA slot and select 'GBA game' then select your GBA rom which you copied to your DeSmuMe folder by clicking 'Browse' button. Then it will ask to reset rom, click yes.

*STEP 8 - Then start your NDS Rom in DeSmuMe you can see 'MIGRATE FROM FIRERED' option click on it and happy migrating.

YOU CAN CATCH YOUR MIGRATED POKEMONS IN PAL  PARK ON POKEMON PLATINUM.
