The main story takes place in the region of Hevah where a Torchic and a Chikorita decided to form a rescue team called Team Go-Getters, to help other POKéMON in need of help. Eventually on their first mission, they found a Pikachu who tells them that he's human, but to their eyes, he's just an ordinary Pikachu.
He decided to join them for he has nowhere else to go, and while he's with them, he's also searching for his friends who eventually turned into POKéMON as well...
After he found all her friends in different places, a threat started to cause chaos all throughout the region. It was Giratina, and it was seeking for a host to set foot on the region, and so chose a Sandslash, one of the Pikachu's friends...
Later on, they fought against Giratina and sets Sandslash free and it was finally time for them to go back to their real world through the Tower of Fate where the gate guardian, Chaomega, stands.
He exclaimed that Jagold, the Sandslash, was destined to die, but because he survived, they accidentally created an alternate universe.
After, Chaomega brought them back to their real world after saying goodbye to their comrades, Torchic and Chikorita.
